Los Cartógrafos y Fotogrametristas son responsables de recopilar, analizar e interpretar datos geográficos para crear mapas y modelos tridimensionales. Utilizan software especializado y tecnologías avanzadas como sistemas de posicionamiento global (GPS) y sistemas de información geográfica (GIS) para representar de manera precisa la superficie terrestre. Su trabajo es fundamental en la planificación urbana, el desarrollo ambiental y la gestión de recursos naturales.
Responsabilidades del Puesto
- Recopilar y analizar datos geoespaciales utilizando tecnologías avanzadas como GPS y GIS.
- Crear mapas detallados y modelos tridimensionales para proyectos de infraestructura, planificación ambiental y gestión de recursos.
- Trabajar en equipo con ingenieros, urbanistas y agencias gubernamentales para desarrollar soluciones basadas en mapas.
- Actualizar y mantener bases de datos cartográficas y geográficas.
- Realizar investigaciones y estudios de campo para verificar la precisión de los datos geoespaciales.
