Deberes del Cargo
- Planificar y desarrollar menús creativos que reflejen la visión del restaurante.
- Supervisar la preparación de los alimentos, asegurando la calidad, presentación y sabor de cada plato.
- Gestionar y entrenar al personal de cocina, asignando tareas diarias y manteniendo un ambiente de trabajo eficiente.
- Controlar los inventarios de alimentos y realizar pedidos de ingredientes según sea necesario.
- Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de higiene y seguridad alimentaria.
- Trabajar en colaboración con el personal de servicio para asegurar una experiencia gastronómica excelente para los clientes.
Un Chef o Primer Chef debe contar con habilidades culinarias avanzadas, creatividad para desarrollar menús innovadores, capacidad para liderar equipos y gestionar el estrés en un entorno de ritmo rápido. También es esencial tener un sólido conocimiento de las normas de seguridad alimentaria y habilidades de organización para manejar el inventario y los costos.
