Los Científicos Atmosféricos y Espaciales estudian los fenómenos atmosféricos y del espacio exterior para comprender mejor el clima, el tiempo, y los procesos físicos y químicos que ocurren en la atmósfera de la Tierra y más allá. Su trabajo es fundamental para predecir patrones climáticos, investigar el cambio climático y contribuir a proyectos aeroespaciales, como la exploración del espacio.
Atribuciones del Cargo
- Analizar datos meteorológicos y atmosféricos para predecir condiciones climáticas y eventos naturales.
- Desarrollar modelos de simulación del clima y la atmósfera utilizando herramientas computacionales avanzadas.
- Investigar los efectos del cambio climático en los patrones meteorológicos y en el medio ambiente.
- Colaborar en investigaciones espaciales para estudiar la atmósfera de otros planetas y fenómenos espaciales.
- Publicar informes y artículos científicos sobre investigaciones y descubrimientos relacionados con la atmósfera y el espacio.
Un Científico Atmosférico o Espacial debe tener una sólida formación en física, meteorología, química y matemáticas, además de ser competente en el uso de software de modelado y análisis de datos. La capacidad para realizar investigaciones precisas y la habilidad para interpretar grandes volúmenes de datos son esenciales en este rol, junto con la habilidad para comunicar resultados científicos de manera clara.
