Enfermeros de Cuidado Agudo: Funciones y Responsabilidades
Los enfermeros de cuidado agudo son profesionales de la salud especializados en la atención de pacientes con enfermedades graves o que requieren intervenciones inmediatas. Trabajan en entornos hospitalarios como unidades de cuidados intensivos, salas de emergencia y unidades de recuperación, brindando atención médica crítica, monitoreando signos vitales y administrando tratamientos de manera rápida y precisa para estabilizar a los pacientes y promover su recuperación.
Responsabilidades del Puesto
- Proporcionar atención directa a pacientes con enfermedades graves o condiciones que requieren cuidados intensivos.
- Monitorear constantemente los signos vitales y el estado general del paciente para detectar cambios críticos.
- Administrar medicamentos, fluidos intravenosos y tratamientos según las indicaciones del equipo médico.
- Colaborar con médicos y otros profesionales de la salud para desarrollar y ejecutar planes de atención adecuados.
- Documentar con precisión los procedimientos realizados y la evolución del estado del paciente.
- Proporcionar apoyo emocional y educativo a los pacientes y sus familias durante el proceso de recuperación.
