Información sobre el puesto
Los podadores y cortadores de árboles se encargan de mantener la salud y apariencia de árboles y arbustos, así como de garantizar la seguridad de las áreas circundantes. Utilizan equipos avanzados de ascenso y balanceo para cortar ramas muertas o en exceso, despejando el paso en caminos, aceras, postes de servicios públicos y mejorando la estructura de los árboles. Estos profesionales emplean sierras de mano, podadoras manuales, cortadoras y podadoras eléctricas para realizar su trabajo, tanto en el suelo como en la copa de los árboles. También pueden utilizar elevadores montados en camiones para alcanzar las alturas necesarias.
Tareas Típicas del Puesto:
Operar equipos de trituración y astillado, alimentando ramas y cepillos en las máquinas para su procesamiento.
Manejar camiones pluma, cargadoras, trituradoras de tocones, trituradoras de pincel, tractores, motosierras, camiones, pulverizadores y otras herramientas y equipos especializados.
Cortar ramas muertas y en exceso alrededor de las líneas de energía utilizando equipos o cubos extensibles montados en camiones, así como motosierras, ganchos, serruchos, tijeras y podadoras de escalada.
Realizar podas y tratamientos en árboles y arbustos para mejorar su aspecto, salud y valor.
