Los zoólogos y biólogos de la fauna silvestre estudian a los animales y sus ecosistemas para comprender mejor su comportamiento, enfermedades, genética y procesos de vida. Trabajan en diversos entornos, desde laboratorios hasta hábitats naturales, y utilizan sus conocimientos para promover la conservación de especies y la biodiversidad. Estos profesionales pueden trabajar en investigación, educación, gestión de recursos naturales o asesoramiento a organizaciones gubernamentales y no gubernamentales.
