Su rol es esencial para facilitar el progreso de los pacientes en su rehabilitación y desarrollo. Las principales funciones incluyen:
Funciones del Puesto
- Asistencia en Terapias: Ayuda en la ejecución de actividades y ejercicios prescritos por el terapeuta ocupacional, ajustando los ejercicios según las necesidades individuales de los pacientes.
- Preparación de Materiales: Preparación y organización de los materiales y equipos necesarios para las sesiones de terapia, asegurando que todo esté en condiciones adecuadas para su uso.
- Monitoreo de Progreso: Observación del progreso de los pacientes y registro de su desempeño durante las sesiones de terapia, proporcionando información relevante al terapeuta ocupacional.
- Apoyo en Actividades Diarias: Asistencia a los pacientes en la realización de actividades de la vida diaria, como el cuidado personal, la movilidad y la adaptación de su entorno para mejorar la funcionalidad.
- Atención y Apoyo: Proporcionar apoyo emocional y motivacional a los pacientes, fomentando una actitud positiva y ayudándoles a superar desafíos durante su proceso de rehabilitación.
- Documentación: Mantenimiento de registros precisos sobre las actividades realizadas, el progreso de los pacientes y cualquier observación relevante durante las sesiones de terapia.
- Educación del Paciente: Ofrecer orientación a los pacientes y sus familias sobre técnicas y estrategias para mejorar la independencia y la calidad de vida en el hogar.
