Los Consejeros Especializados en Abuso de Sustancias y Trastornos del Comportamiento son profesionales que trabajan con personas que enfrentan problemas de adicción y comportamientos destructivos. Su objetivo principal es ayudar a los clientes a superar sus dependencias y adoptar estilos de vida más saludables. Utilizan una combinación de terapia individual y grupal, educación sobre el abuso de sustancias, y el desarrollo de estrategias de afrontamiento para guiar a los clientes a través de su recuperación. Estos consejeros colaboran con otros profesionales de la salud para proporcionar un tratamiento integral y continuo.
Obligaciones del Puesto
- Evaluar el nivel de adicción de los clientes y desarrollar planes de tratamiento personalizados que aborden sus necesidades específicas.
- Ofrecer terapia individual y grupal para ayudar a los clientes a comprender y superar sus adicciones.
- Proporcionar educación sobre los efectos del abuso de sustancias y los trastornos del comportamiento.
- Desarrollar estrategias de prevención y técnicas de manejo del estrés para reducir el riesgo de recaídas.
- Coordinar con otros profesionales, como médicos y trabajadores sociales, para garantizar un enfoque holístico del tratamiento.
- Realizar un seguimiento del progreso del cliente y ajustar el tratamiento según sea necesario para apoyar la recuperación continua.
