Descripción del Cargo de Director de Servicio de Alimentos
El Director de Servicio de Alimentos es responsable de supervisar todas las operaciones relacionadas con la preparación, presentación y distribución de alimentos en un establecimiento de servicios, como un restaurante, hotel o institución. Su principal tarea es garantizar que las operaciones diarias sean eficientes, cumplan con las normas de seguridad e higiene, y que se brinde una excelente atención al cliente. Además, gestiona al personal del servicio de alimentos, controla los inventarios y asegura la rentabilidad de las operaciones.
Deberes del Cargo
- Supervisar las operaciones diarias del servicio de alimentos, asegurando la calidad y consistencia.
- Gestionar y capacitar al personal, asegurando que cumplan con las políticas del establecimiento.
- Controlar los inventarios de alimentos y realizar pedidos de suministros cuando sea necesario.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normativas de salud, seguridad e higiene en la preparación de alimentos.
- Resolver cualquier problema relacionado con el servicio y atención al cliente.
- Colaborar con otros departamentos, como el de marketing, para desarrollar estrategias que impulsen las ventas.
El candidato ideal para este puesto debe poseer habilidades de liderazgo, capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y conocimientos avanzados en gestión de servicios de alimentos. La experiencia previa en un rol similar y un enfoque orientado al cliente también son altamente valorados.
